What Will My Child Learn?
We will focus on the main concepts of linear and quadratic functions for Algebra 1. In order to be college ready, students will learn to work with functions in their four representations of tables, graphs, word problems and algebraic forms. We will also learn about systems of equations and inequalities and matrices along with the various forms of factoring and solving quadratic equations.
More Importantly than math, your child will learn perseverance, and courage to ask questions, humility to learn when things don’t come easily, grace for others when it comes easily for them, discipline to work daily, initiative to learn at deeper levels, and the understanding that GOD has a plan for their lives.

I think Mr. Warren is funny and friendly! The classes are easy to follow, but he is always nice, laid back, and approachable if I need help. His stories are the best!

Where Can My Student Receive Additional Help?
Mr. Warren also provides additional help during his Tuesday free tutoring session from 8:30-9:30pm. If you login after 8:30, please text so I can admit you. This is on a first come first serve basis for his enrolled math students only. Students may also contact him via text during the week to see if they are on the right track with their work.
Mr. Warren is hands down the best math teacher I’ve ever had. Before I started this class, I hated math with every bone in my body, and I didn’t know how I would survive another year of it. But right from the beginning, he had so much patience, and was so understanding, and he’s always able to explain the problem for me in a way that makes me totally understand it and not be confused anymore. I am forever grateful that he’s my teacher, and I’m so glad he teaches math.
